Our endowed fund

In 2009, the Land Conservancy partnered with the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area to establish the Natural Areas Protection Fund. Part of the Care for the Land You Love project, matching funds of up to $20,000 will be provided by Community Foundations of Canada and the Ontario Land Trust Alliance. We have reached our first goal of $20,000.

Money donated to the Natural Areas Protection Fund will never be withdrawn.

Income from this endowed fund will be used for stewardship costs on lands that we own or on which we hold an easement.  To donate to the Fund please send a cheque to the Community Foundation for Kingston and Area, 165 Ontario Street, Kingston, ON, K7L 2Y6 with a note that the donation is for the Natural Areas Protection Fund.
